The doorknob signal
Designer: Arnaud Lapierre

有習慣關上門或是鎖門的人(我就是)這設計讓你不那麼拒人於千里之外
一般鎖上門從外面是不知道的，頂多知道門關起來
要去轉動把手才知道，但是會讓想進入的人覺得:幹麻鎖門
產生出距離感

這門把的設計讓人家看就知道你是鎖上門
就像有些人會掛上門牌，請勿打擾
但是卻呈現出美感和告知的用意
我實在太欣賞這設計了!

We’ve seen it before, the universal sign of “I have company, go away” signal.
Often taking form as a tie around a doorknob or the potted plant flipped over.
There’s got to be a more high-tech way. The Doorknob Condition uses an innovated pulley system that makes the knob on the exterior recess inwards when pulled from the inside. Without a knob to use, there’s no way to get it.
Sure it could be great for security but who are we kidding?
We know exactly how a doorknob like this would be used.
Too bad it doesn’t have a little timer to indicate when to come back.



Multipling Lights

我想很多人都喜歡水晶吊燈
這弔燈利用鏡面的設計，只要兩盞燈就能利用鏡子反射
呈現出一個完整吊燈的樣子
雖然只能放在牆面間的轉角空間
但是也夠美也夠實用了! 還省了6盞燈源!

Riddle me this. How do you get an 8 stem chandelier with only 2?Simple,
you just hang it in the corner of a room with mirrors on all three axis behind it.
This visually multiplies the lights into eight. Put one up in every corner and
you’ve got yourself some serious lighting.


這設計很適合女性朋友



Oh Jimmy Choo Display That Shoe

雖然我也是女性，不過我沒高跟鞋需要這樣放
這設計讓女性朋友們把自己的愛鞋營造出一幅風景
就算沒出門shopping也能在家看鞋自得其樂
我的某位好友，妳，很需要這個啊!

話說它設計出像在草地上
而我的夢想是我家的天花板是一片綠地啊!

$400 for a pair of Chimmy Choo’s, $150 for some Air Jordan’s,
and $900 for some Gucci’s. Seriously, at these prices they do not deserved to
be shoved into a closet. These things need to be displayed. Imagine a small grassy
area on your wall with rearrangeable hooks to hang your shoes from.
That’s the idea behind Hyun Jung Lee’s Shoe Picnic, because every shoe has its place.
Now all your friends and family can admire you expensive ass shoes.
